SGON Cast steel Gate Valves are primarily used for stop valves fully opened or fully closed .They are not normally considered for throttling purposes,but more for slurries,viscous fluids,etc. Gate valves are characterized by a traveling wedge ,which is moved with the operation of the stem nut. Gate valves usually have a minimum pressure drop when fully open,provide tight shut-off when fully closed,and remain relatively free of contamination buildup.

SGON Stainless Steel Gate Valves are designed and manufactured to ensure leakage of less than 100 ppm (parts per million) of volatile organic compounds. Extensive base line laboratory testing (static and cycle testing) has been performed establishing critical design parameters necessary to achieve low emission sealing in the Med stem packing seal area and in the bonnet gasket sealing area, In-house testing procedure has been developed and is periodically performed to ensure that standard product design and manufacturing criteria consistently result in the Med Stainless Steel Gate Valve meeting a maximum of 100 ppm VOC leakage prior to shipment.

SGON Pressure Seal Gate Valves is a valve realizing the closing and opening function by lifting the disc up&down as the closure member. The main advantages of API Stainless Steel Gate valve are smooth flowing passage, small flowing resistance and small operation torque, while the main disadvantages of this valve are: easy-damaged sealing face, long closing&opening time, large volume&weight. Gate valve is widely used on pipeline as it's suitable to be manufactured with big size. Gate valve is and generally for cutting off purpose but not intended to be used as a regulating valve because the sealing face would be corroded by the medium easily when valve is not in fully open or closed position.

The valve stem of the bellows valve adopts double sealing structure of bellows and packing to ensure the leakage and seal at the stem, especially for flammable, explosive, toxic and valuable medium. Bellows are made of stainless steel or Inconel material. The bellows seal structure is reasonable, fatigue resistant and long service life.

SGON Cryogenic Gate valve refers to the valve with working temperature below -110Degree C and widely used in area of LNG, LPG and other cryogenic medium. There are two different types of bonnet designing. One is bolted bonnet, i.e. the body is connected with bonnet by bolts & nuts with spiral wound gasket(If required, metal ring gasket could be provided) between. And the other type is welded bonnet, i.e. the bonnet is welded to body directly. Cryogenic Gate valve is used to connect pipe and fitting or its accessories. Flanged connection has the features of easy installation, good connection strength and good excellent sealing performance. The flange connection consists of flanges, bolts, nuts and gasket. When we fasten the connecting bolts, it would press the sealing gasket between the flange which would have elastic deformation and fill all the small space between the two flanges' sealing face, thus to realize the good sealing.

The opening and closing part of the thread gate valve is a plug valve, the sealing surface is flat or conical, and the valve flap moves straight along the centerline of the fluid. The motion form of the stem has the lifting rod type (the stem lift, the handwheel not lifting), also the lifting and rotating rod type (the handwheel and the stem rotates with the lift, the nut is located on the body).

The opening and closing parts of forged steel gate valves are gate plates. The movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid, and the forging gate valve can only be fully opened and closed, and can not be adjusted and throttled. The gate of the forging gate valve has two sealing surfaces. The two sealing surfaces of the most commonly used gate valves are wedge-shaped and wedge angles vary with valve parameters.
